Can I Get a CarFax Report?
Even if the dealership does provide a history of the SUV, getting a detailed third-party history report can be beneficial as well. A CarFax report is a valuable tool for you as the consumer, but also for the dealership. Many used car dealers advertise this service as a way to show potential buyers they are willing to provide as much information about the vehicle as possible.
Have You Completed Any Maintenance on This Vehicle?
When buying a used vehicle of any kind, you can expect there will be necessary maintenance or repairs that need to be completed in the future. To help you budget for these repairs, find out if the dealership conducted any maintenance when they obtained the SUV. It may be helpful in the decision-making process if you know that some major repairs were completed when they arrived on their lot.
