Top 10 Used Minivans: Part 2

So you’re in the market for a used minivan? Whether your family is expanding or you just want a reliable vehicle with plenty of storage and passenger space, you’ve come to the right place. Last month, our team at Joe’s Auto Sales East kicked off our list of the ten best used minivans for under $20,000, and today we’ll finish it off. (For even more options, check out the full list from U.S. News & World Report.)
2010 Chrysler Town & Country

6. 2010 Volkswagen Routan

With seating for up to seven passengers, the Volkswagen Routan gets an overall rating of 8.5 out of 10. Its strengths include a smooth ride, comfortable seating, and stylish design inside and out.

7. 2012 Mazda5 (by Mazda)

At first glance, you may not think the Mazda5 is a minivan at all. Although smaller in stature than many other minivans in its class, the Mazda5 still has many perks, including great handling and excellent fuel economy. However, if space is what you need, you may find the Mazda5 a bit lacking.

8. 2014 Mazda5 (by Mazda)

Very much like its predecessor, the 2014 Mazda5 gets great remarks for fuel economy, handling, and comfortable first- and second-row seats. However, if space is what you need, you may still find that third row a bit cramped and wish you had more storage space.

9. 2011 Toyota Sienna

In 2011, the Toyota Sienna got a redesign. Many customers found that the changes were positive, including its all-wheel drive feature and powerful but smooth V6 engine. However, the downsides to this model included lower safety scores than other vehicles in its class and inadequate towing abilities (with the base engine).

10. 2010 Chrysler Town & Country

With an overall rating of 8.2 out of 10, you can find the 2010 Town & Country to be a reliable used minivan. It’s known for its smooth ride, seating options, and the ability to upgrade to a more-powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine. However, if you only get the base engine, the towing capacity isn’t as robust as many customers would like. Ready to find your used minivan?
